Seriously. How have these two traditional football powerhouses never played? I guess the Georgia Bulldogs have to start winning some SEC Championships to have an opportunity to play the Oklahoma Sooners.
Outside of Mark Richt, there might not be a more family friendly coach in College Football than OU HC Bob Stoops. Stoops has been at OU longer than Richt and has won a National Championship and had two Heisman Trophy Winners in Jason White and Sam Bradford.

I’ve heard that the game day atmosphere in Norman rivals that of anything in the country. I’m sure Sooner Nation probably has heard similar things about Athens. Honestly if the Dawgs and the Sooners were to meet up at a neutral site (Atlanta, Dallas, bowl game, College Football Playoff…), it would be a must-see matchup.
This stills bothers me since these two programs have played so many like opponents before. UGA and OU have each played Oklahoma State, Clemson, Alabama, Tennessee, and Missouri in recent seasons. If there is one series I would like to see UGA AD Greg McGarity figure out a way to put into our football schedule, this takes the cake. We need to play Oklahoma before Mark Richt and Bob Stoops retire.
