This whole slideshow came about on an intriguing though I had the other day. As Dawg Nation is well aware, the top QB prospect of the 2016 Class Jacob Eason is coming to Athens via Lake Stevens, Washington to play for Mark Richt and the Georgia Bulldogs. I thought, wouldn’t it be hilarious if Georgia somehow played the Huskies in Seattle while Eason was the starting quarterback at Georgia?
That got me thinking that Georgia has never played Washington before and I really want to go Seattle. Rain, Pearl Jam, coffee, football, what’s not to like? But in all seriousness, I’d love to see the Georgia Bulldogs take the gridiron against the Washington Huskies.

I liked how Washington rebounded nicely with the hire of former Boise State HC Chris Petersen after Steve Sarkisian traveled south to coach the USC Trojans. Though Oregon and Stanford are now perennial contenders to compete for Pac-12 North Titles, I don’t think that the Huskies are all that far away from playing in a Pac-12 Championship. I mean who saw Arizona winning the South this past season?
Given that both teams play on literally opposite ends of the country, bowl game matchups will not likely happen between UGA and UW. It would have to come at either a neural site or in a CFP scenario. I’d love to see the Dawgs run the football in the liquid sunshine of the Pacific Northwest, while the Huskies pant feverishly in the Georgia humidity.
