I think spending a weekend near the Rocky Mountains would be pretty cool. Just enjoy the scenery and enjoy some great football. That could be possible if the Georgia Bulldogs would ever schedule a game with the Utah Utes of the Pac-12. Yes, Utah hasn’t been a Power 5 team for very long but the Utes still churn out great NFL talent: Star Lotulelei, Alex Smith, Jamal Anderson, Paul Soliai, all former Utes.
Given that both Atlanta and Salt Lake City are major airport hubs for Delta Airlines, getting to the Great Salt Lake isn’t extremely difficult. I’ve also heard great things about Rice-Eccles Stadium where the crowd is always rowdy and makes it a tough place to play.

Even when Utah is down as a program, they always seem to have a good bit of NFL talent of their team. I really think that by joining the Pac-12, the Utes can become a strong contender in the South for many years. Outside of Colorado, it’s a toss-up every year in the South between its five other teams.
Like Washington, this game would likely have to come in either a bowl game of playoff but it wouldn’t surprise to see both UGA and Utah ranked when their first meeting occurs. If Alabama can play them, why can’t the Georgia Bulldogs?
