The Georgia Bulldogs are bringing in a very strong freshmen class for the 2015 season.  Georgia made great strides to recruit and sign players that can best fit in Jeremy Pruitt’s defensive scheme.  Mark Richt and new OC Brian Schottenheimer also brought in guys that can play multiple wide receiver positions as well as bolster the offensive line.

Pruitt’s staff looked to sign coachable depth in the defensive backfield for Pruitt to mold to his liking.  UGA signed many fast but physical men to play upfront on Tracy Rocker’s defensive line.  And LB Coaches Kevin Sherrer and Mike Ekeler receive a bevy of boys that look to continue the great linebacker tradition here at the University of Georgia.

While many members of the 2015 UGA Recruiting Class will probably have to take a redshirt to save their eligibility, I believe that possibly 12 or so true freshman can make an impact for the 2015 Georgia Bulldogs.  Many will have to start out on special teams but a few can certainly get some big time snaps in Conference Play.  There’s even a chance that a handful of true freshman that could start this fall, too.

Mark Richt has certainly learned his lesson about redshirting (the Knowshon Moreno situation) so I sense that unless there is no chance that a guy gets to play on Saturdays as a true freshman, Richt may end up burning a few redshirts if he so chooses to.

After looking at the 2015 Recruiting Class, I feel that five guys that stand out right away as potential impact freshman for the Georgia Bulldogs.  Last year we saw TE Jeb Blazevich, SS Dominick Sanders, OLB Lorenzo Carter, RB Sony Michel, and WR/KR Isaiah McKenzie all make a name for themselves as true freshman.  And then of course, there was RB Nick Chubb who had a legendary true freshman season as the starting tailback in the second half of the season.

Without further ado, here are the five true freshman on the 2015 Georgia Bulldogs team that I see as potential breakout stars this fall.
