The Georgia Bulldogs expect to have many solid contributors on their 2015 roster, many of whom are still underclassmen. Last year Dawg Nation found many new freshman favorites that they can hopefully enjoy for the next two or three seasons teeing it up Between the Hedges.
In the NFL, coaches often say that players make their biggest leap as professionals between their first and second years in the league. The second-year players now know what it takes to play in the National Football League. Arguably the same thing is often said with regards to the college game.

Often times, it is when a player becomes a sophomore do we start to really pay attention to him. At the University of Georgia, that sometimes happens earlier as it’s not uncommon for true and redshirt freshman to become household names in Dawg Nation. However, it’s usually that explosive sophomore campaign that takes these players to the level of national prominence.

The Georgia Bulldogs might have lost a great deal of senior leadership after last season on both sides of the football. Even losing close to a dozen major senior contributors, part of the reason UGA finds itself ranked #9 in the initial Amway Coaches Poll is that it returns a very stellar sophomore class.
Though the upperclassmen are terrific, too, I think it is the Recruiting Class of 2014 here at Georgia that will ultimately turn heads this fall for the Georgia Bulldogs. While UGA normally finishes in the Top 10 in national recruiting annually, I see the Class of 2014 being something very special. Here are five sophomores I see as the best on the team heading into the 2015 Regular Season.
