Atlanta Hawks: 5 Intriguing Western Home Games in 2015-16
By John Buhler
While I expect the Atlanta Hawks to sell out most of the 41 home games this year, if I had to pick one that certainly will not have an empty seat in the house, no doubt it’s when the defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors come to town.
Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and the rest of HC Steve Kerr‘s terrific Warriors squad will make their only regular season appearance (see what I’m trying to do here…) to Philips Arena on February 22nd, 2016.

Like Atlanta dominated the Eastern Conference last year, the Golden State Warriors had little to no difficulty (well, maybe the first three games of the Memphis series..) en route to winning their first NBA title in 40 seasons.
I would assume that the Warriors are the favorites to repeat as NBA Champions in 2016. Even if the Dubs do fall back just a bit, I still see them as a Western Conference Finals caliber team. Being able to say that about your team means that all it takes is a favorable matchup to play for an NBA Championship. Hopefully both the Atlanta Hawks and the Golden State Warriors are on a collision course to meeting up in June 2016.
