The Atlanta Braves are in a position that they haven’t dealt with since 2009; they’re losing. At this point, it looks like the Braves are going to have the opportunity to showcase some of the talents that John Hart has collected over the last nine months.

As fans, we tend not to enjoy seasons like these. The Braves are floundering as the season winds down, especially on the road. The offensive well has all but dried up. The rotation is at least pitching true to form. Unfortunately, true to form involves a bullpen full of spare parts and a rotation composed of guys aged 22-24. Not all is cripplingly depressing, though. With all the talent collected by the Front Office, we get the opportunity to watch some of these high-end prospects get a real taste of the majors.

We have already seen a handful of young guys take the field for the Bravos this year and hopefully that trend continues. The next 10 guys include players we’ve seen already but deserve some more run, and players the Braves have received in the plethora of trades our resident mastermind/genius/mad genius John Hart, has made.
For clarity’s sake, I am not including Hector Olivera on this list, as he should get called up on August 24th. I am also only including players currently on the 40-man roster.
On with the show!
