Listen, I need to get this out of the way, I have an unhealthy obsession with Todd Cunningham. He’s the type of player I’ve always been drawn to. Nothing too special but makes the most out of his talents. With a decent hit tool, good defensive acumen, and solid base running skills, Cunningham has all the tools to play an effective fourth outfielder for a long time.

More from ATL All Day

Cunningham got his first extended run with the Braves this season and, unfortunately, he did not impress. He had a triple slash line of just .240/.296/.293 in 81 plate appearances with just four walks and four extra-base hits (all doubles). Cunningham has not even been tearing it up in Gwinnett this season with just one home run and slugging just .340 in 84 games in 2015.

You might yourself, why is Cunningham even on this list? The fact of the matter is, we know what we have in Cunningham (and the next two guys on this list) and it might be time to give them one more month as big pieces of the bench to see if they can offer anything for the future. If Cunningham were to get called up, it would have seemed like as his last opportunity to prove his worth for the Atlanta Braves, not unless you include 2016 Spring Training as a possibility.
