Joey-T is one of those guys that completely blows you away with his minor league production. He had Atlanta Braves fans salivating at his potential in 2011 when he had 72 extra base hits at High-A Lynchburg. He continued his good work by slowly moving up the ladder and eventually dominating AAA pitching in 2013 with an OPS of .926 which included 18 home runs and 24 doubles.

During the 2013 season, it was becoming obvious that the Braves had to find a way to get Terdoslavich an opportunity in the Majors. Being blocked as his traditional position of 1B and not cutting it, defensively as a 3B, the Gwinnett Braves began to play Terdoslavich in RF with mixed results. Those results were enough, though, to convince the Atlanta Braves to give Terdoslavich a cup of coffee in 2013. Well, that did not exactly work out. In 92 plate appearances batted just .215 with an OPS of just .581.
Unfortunately, 2015 has been more of the same MLB disappointment for Terdoslavich. Even with a gaping hole in LF and two extended DL stints from Freddie Freeman, Terdoslavich has not been able to assert himself as a consistent and practical bench option. He’s still raking down on the farm (.921 OPS) but this call-up could be one of his last opportunities to prove his worth.
