The Georgia Bulldogs handled the ULM Warhawks in the 2015 Season opener yesterday afternoon, 51-14.  The game ended early due to a second lightning strike in the Athens area, cutting the game short by 9:54.

So what did we learn about the Georgia Bulldogs in their first game of action in 2015?  It’s hard to draw anything concrete in a lopsided victory over a Sun Belt opponent at home in Week 1, but there were a handful of re-affirmations about the #9 ranked team in the country.

Going into 2015, Dawg Nation knew that the strength of this football team was in the running game, as our best player is Heisman hopeful Sophomore RB Nick Chubb.  We knew that a new starting quarterback would take over for Hutson Mason.  That guy became UVA transfer Junior Greyson Lambert, as HC Mark Richt named him the starter on Monday for the Week 1 affair with the ULM Warhawks.
