Georgia Bulldogs: 5 Defensive Players to Watch vs. Vandy

Jordan Jenkins did not like how the Georgia Bulldogs’ last game in Nashville went. Former UGA ILB Ramik Wilson received a targeting penalty as was promptly ejected from the Conference Game. UGA suffered defensively in Wilson’s absence and lost a head-scratching game at Vanderbilt in 2013.
Jenkins will not want to go 0-for in his two undergrad trips to the Music City. He will inspire the Dawgs defense to lay down the hammer on the ‘Dores as UGA’s vocal leader on defense. While some might think Vandy is a cakewalk, Jenkins will have no part in that logic and will get on his teammates if they aren’t fired up for their 2015 SEC Opener.
Jordan will get at least one sack on McCrary Saturday afternoon, perhaps getting another half sack, splitting one with another UGA pass rusher. Look for Jenkins to factor in stopping the run and in pass defense because I doubt any coach will want to pull Jenkins off the field for one defensive snap.
Though Jordan Jenkins may not have the most impressive stat line when the game comes to an end Saturday evening for the Georgia Bulldogs defense, his leadership will carry the Dawgs in the Vandy Game. Jenkins will not let Vanderbilt beat Georgia again in Nashville. No way he’s going to let that happen.
