THE DEFENSE IS BETTER THAN ADVERTISED

Thus far in 2015, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets defense has been impressive. Over the course of two games against Alcorn State and Tulane, the Jacket defense has allowed an aggregate total of only 570 yards.

Of course Alcorn State is an FCS opponent, and Tulane plays in the American Athletic Conference, but regardless of the quality of opponent, the Georgia Tech defense has stepped up. They only allowed 1 touchdown to Tulane, a 91 yard drive that culminated in a 44 yard touchdown pass from QB Tanner Lee to WR Devon Breaux.

The Jacket defense is also doing an effective job of pressuring opposing quarterbacks, as well as swarming to the ball. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets must sustain this good defensive play going forward.
