The Georgia Bulldogs are fresh off a 17-point road victory over SEC East rival Vanderbilt in Nashville in Week 2.  UGA’s 31-14 win over the ‘Dores propelled the Dawgs to #7 in the country, according to the most recent AP Top 25.

In all honesty, the SEC did not have a great Week 2 in the College Football landscape.  Auburn need to go to overtime at home to knock of FCS Jacksonville State, plummeting from #6 to #18 in the 3rd Edition of the AP Top 25.  Arkansas, Mississippi State, and Tennessee all lost and are now out of the Top 25, leaving 7 SEC teams in this week’s AP Poll.

Georgia showed both signs of dominance as well as areas of concern in their Week 2 win over VU.  While the Dawgs played tremendous defense (14 points allowed and 3 interceptions), the offense needs to become more balanced should the Georgia Bulldogs want to contend for an SEC Championship.

The running game was the focal point offensively, as neither Greyson Lambert of Brice Ramsey looked great at quarterback for the Dawgs on Saturday.  While neither QB turned the ball over through the air, the passing game, or lack thereof, is a major concern heading into a Week 3 home game versus the South Carolina Gamecocks.

The SEC East has two teams this week in the AP Top 25, Georgia at 7 and Missouri at 22.  Though those two teams are the big contenders in the East at this point of the season, there was a great deal of shakeup in this week’s edition of the SEC East Power Rankings here at ATL All Day.  Without further ado, here is the SEC East ranked 7 to 1 entering Week 3 of the 2015 College Football Season.
