Should the Atlanta Braves retain Fredi Gonzalez this offseason as manager?
It’s something we’ve talked about a lot here at ATL All Day. In fact, we’re not the only ones who believe that Fredi should not keep his managerial position for the Braves in 2016 as several writers also agree with us. So hypothetically, lets say that we do all get our wish and the Braves address the Elephant in the room that isn’t getting the job done, who do you replace him with? Here’s my list, but I’d love to hear more suggestions.

It’s no secret that the Atlanta Braves have gone through some heavy revamping. They’ve cast off several key cogs and hindering pieces that the Braves felt needed to go. As a whole, John Hart has worked some miracles. But I believe that to take full advantage of this retooling, he needs to get rid of Fredi Gonzalez. It’s abundantly clear that his leadership is lacking, and that he has completely lost this team, regardless of how they stack up compared to other teams.
In order for other players who are free agents to see that the Braves are serious, and not far behind being competitive again, they’ll need to see the Bobby Cox managerial tree come to an end in Atlanta. But who can the Braves essentially trust to man the helm of this great ship bound for Cobb County in 2017? Here is a short list of candidates I believe that could give the Braves with some much-needed leadership before they make the trip to their new ballpark.
