The Georgia Bulldogs enter tomorrow night’s game versus an SEC East rival in the South Carolina Gamecocks as the number seven team in the country. South Carolina is coming off a tough home loss in their SEC opener to rival Kentucky.
However, do not expect the Georgia Bulldogs to take the South Carolina Gamecocks lightly. UGA lost a tough game in Week 2 vs. USC in Columbia last year. In the infamous Credit Card game, the game came down to a favorable ball spot for USC, when the official could have easily slid a credit card between the ball and the chain, giving Georgia the ball back for one last try on offense.

Georgia has lost 4 of the last 5 games with the SEC East rival. The lone time UGA has come away victorious was in QB Aaron Murray’s RS Senior Season at home in 2013, one where he chose not to go 0-for in his college career to the Gamecocks.

The defense for the Georgia Bulldogs has looked great in the first two games of 2015, allowing an average of 14 points again. With South Carolina being without starting QB Connor Mitch, look for the Dawgs to limit USC’s offensive production.
Where UGA needs to improve is on offense. Although Vanderbilt’s defense is rapidly improving and I’ll give the ‘Dores credit in last week’s home loss to the Dawgs, UGA has to look better in both the passing game and in running the ball in the red zone.
I believe UGA will correct many of their issues on offense and have more balance in Week 3 at home versus South Carolina. Here are the five players on the offensive side of the ball for the Georgia Bulldogs that I will have my eyes on tomorrow night.
