Last season, LG Brandon Kublanow had a costly holding penalty on what would have been a tremendous touchdown run for then Heisman hopeful RB Todd Gurley. The SEC officials later said that Kublanow’s questionable hold should have not merited a flag.

Kublanow is a year older, a year wiser and he’s ready to turn it up against the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday. The new starting center for the Georgia Bulldogs will amp up the intensity and help lead the offensive line to a dominating performance in Week 3 over USC.
I look for Georgia to have a little more of a balanced offense in Week 3. While we should all expect it to feature the running game more, I think that it should open up the pass more. For this to work the offense line is going to have to do well in both run blocking and pass protection.
Brandon Kublanow will anchor the UGA offensive line in this game. Look for the Georgia Bulldogs to run the football with authority both up the middle or to the outside, even if USC stacks the box in this one.
