PATRICK SKOV IS AN EFFECTIVE RECEIVER

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets starting B-back Patrick Skov proved on Saturday that he is not only an effective rusher, but also receiver. The graduate transfer from Stanford caught two TD passes from Justin Thomas late in the fourth quarter as the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets tried to come back against Notre Dame.

Justin Thomas threw a 24 yard TD pass to Skov with 48 seconds left to get the Jackets closer at 30-15, and then with 22 seconds left following an onside kick, Skov caught another pass from Thomas, a 15 yard TD reception. Though it was too little, too late, Patrick Skov showed what he is capable going forward. Maybe Paul Johnson will design more plays around passing to the bruising B-back.
