The Atlanta Falcons went on the road in Week 2 and defeated the New York Giants, 24-20 in the Meadowlands. Atlanta moves to 2-0 on the season under first-year Head Coach Dan Quinn.

Atlanta is now 2-0 in the NFC East part of their schedule after winning in MetLife Stadium over the New York Giants Sunday afternoon, 24-20. The Falcons will have to travel to Dallas to take on an injury-riddled Cowboys team, now without WR Dez Bryant and QB Tony Romo indefinitely.

HC Dan Quinn has to feel pretty good about his Atlanta Falcons team, but has to keep in mind that we are only two weeks through the 2015 NFL Season. Atlanta looked impressive in the Meadowlands, which had been a house of horrors for the Falcons in recent years. Can they bring this momentum into Jerry World next weekend?

We’re seeing a more balanced team out of the Atlanta Falcons than we have in several seasons. The pass rush and offensive line is getting better every week. The defense is growing in Dan Quinn’s scheme, the offense is progressing under OC Kyle Shanahan, and the special teams is as strong as ever, even without KR Devin Hester in the first two weeks.
