FRIDAY

  • Ryan Weber (0-1, 3.26 ERA) vs. Jose Fernandez (5-0, 2.18)

Ryan Weber has been solid since his major league debut two weeks ago. In his last game against the Phillies, Weber went 6.0 innings while only allowing 2 ER. In his three starts, Weber has gone at least six innings in each of those contests.

Jose Fernandez returned to the Marlins earlier this season after undergoing Tommy John surgery over a year ago. Miami’s ace has picked up where he left off — dominating his opponents. After missing some time with a biceps strain, Fernandez is pitching better than ever. He is 16-0 with a 1.11 ERA at home.
