Julio Teheran has been simply dominant in the month of September, and has rebounded well after struggling for much of the season. After having a 4.56 ERA before the All-Star break, Teheran has a 3.70 ERA since, and a 1.67 ERA in September in 27.0 innings pitched. In his last start against the Phillies, Teheran pitched 8.1 innings while only giving up 1 ER.

Justin Nicolino has not looked good as of late, losing his last start against Washington by giving up 7 ER. With Teheran on the mound, this is as good an opportunity as any for the Atlanta Braves to get a victory away from home.
