The Georgia Bulldogs move to 4-0 after taming the Southern Jaguars 48-6 on a misty Saturday afternoon Between the Hedges.

It’s hard to extract anything definite from a home blowout against an FCS opponent, especially in the week leading up to what might stand as the biggest game of the season for the Georgia Bulldogs next week. UGA will host the Alabama Crimson Tide at Sanford Stadium for the SEC Game of the Week on CBS at 3:30 PM ET.

However, it was enjoyable to see the Dawgs once again play a dominant football game at home. Though UGA still has to go to several hostile environments this year (Knoxville, Auburn, and Atlanta), is will be mighty tough for an opponent to knock off the Dawgs in their house.

More from ATL All Day

Since my freshman year of college in 2008, I cannot recall a Georgia Bulldogs team be this well-rounded or have as high of a ceiling. The offense has usually been first class, but it’s the defense of DC Jeremy Pruitt that I believe is transforming HC Mark Richt’s program into a championship caliber one in 2015.

Outside of Florida, every team remaining on UGA’s schedule this year already has at least one loss. So it doesn’t sound that crazy anymore to believe that Georgia is the presumed favorite in every regular season game they will play this year, should things continue as is of course.

Without further ado, here are the five things I learned about the Georgia Bulldogs in their Week 4 victory over the Southern Jaguars.
