Saturday in Athens is about one thing and one thing only: Beat Bama! That’s it. It doesn’t matter how it happens, but it must happen. By beating the number 13 team in the country at home, that should get the Georgia Bulldogs into the inner circle of the earliest College Football Playoff discussion.

Moving to 5-0 (3-0) puts UGA is the absolute driver’s seat in the East, assuming Florida drops their home game to Ole Miss. Expect Sanford Stadium to become Death Valley of the SEC East on Saturday. Tremors will register on the Richter Scale should the Georgia Bulldogs score a touchdown on a Nick Chubb or Sony Michel run.

The offense looks incredible at the moment, with the dynamic duo of Chubb and Michel in the backfield and a passer that doesn’t throw incompletions at home in Greyson Lambert. Jeremy Pruitt’s defense doesn’t give up the deep ball, loves to stuff the run, and lives to drive the opposing QB into the turf.

This is the most complete team I’ve seen Georgia have since fall of my freshman year in 2008. Can Mark Richt and his boys put it all together for 60 minutes against the Alabama Crimson Tide? Every senior on the UGA football team remembers the 2012 SEC Championship Game. The Georgia Bulldogs were five yards away from playing for a BCS National Championship.

Three years later, it’s time for revenge. Dawg Nation is completely behind you guys. Just show up, ready to compete at a high level and we’ll take care of the rest. Southern hospitality is out the door in this game. Go Dawgs!
