One of the aspects of the 2015 Georgia Bulldogs defense that I’ve enjoyed the most is how hard Malkom Parrish hits receivers up at the line of scrimmage. Should the opposition look to move the chains on the flats, Parrish is right there to make sure that the receiver isn’t getting any yards after the catch.

To me, that’s the type of ferocity I love to see out of a corner in press coverage, not letting the opponent get even an inch. It’s like he’s playing for the TC Williams Titans in Alexandria, VA in the early 1970’s. Do you Remember the Titans? “Don’t let them gain…another yard!”

I love how the Pruitt defense attacks as oppose to how the Todd Grantham defense would react. It is risky to do with an underclassman cornerback in press coverage, but Malkom Parrish makes it look so easy.

Look for Malkom Parrish to make a couple of great tackles on the outside on Saturday. I think he will force a pair of three and outs for the UGA defense with his great tackling skills, stopping the receiver just short of the first down marker.
