Reggie Wilkerson is one of three defensive players that are getting looks at the STAR position for OLB Coach Kevin Sherrer. Out of the trio of Wilkerson, Floyd, and true freshman Rico McGraw, Reggie has the lone interception of the group, corralling his in the Vanderbilt game in Nashville.

With Jacob Coker having already thrown four interceptions this season, look for him to at least throw one in this game. It’s a dangerous combination to have an OC with a gunslinger’s mentality and a new starting QB that has shown a proclivity to turn the ball over.
Then if you add in how Alabama will want to attack Georgia in the passing game, between the hash marks, then you would have to think that’s where the likely interception is coming for the Georgia Bulldogs. Yes, either safety Dominick Sanders or Quincy Mauger could turn an errant throw into a pick six, but I think Wilkerson jumps a route and steals one away form OJ Howard in the second half.
He won’t return it for a touchdown, as it will require such a great play of athleticism just to come down with the interception. However, it could be the play on the defensive side of the ball that could swing the momentum in the Georgia Bulldogs’ favor for the rest of the ball game. Go Dawgs!
