Alabama has some monsters on defense, most notably LB Reggie Ragland. They will want to get into the Georgia Bulldogs’ backfield to attempt to slow down the run, but more importantly throw QB Greyson Lambert’s timing off. That’s where Senior LT John Theus comes into the picture.
Theus won’t have any of that Bama nonsense in his backfield. I see this as a game for Theus to prove he’s a first-team All-SEC offensive lineman. To say you’re the best, you have to perform at your highest against one of the toughest, most well-rounded defenses in College Football.

Though I expect Lambert to not have a clean day in the pocket, getting sacked twice, the veteran offensive line of the Georgia Bulldogs will rally to better protect their quarterback, as well as setting the tone of the game with outstanding run blocking from opening tip-off.
Should the UGA offensive line falter for any reason, expect Senior Leader John Theus to motivate his unit to get back to playing like a Top 5 offensive line in the country. Theus is battle tested. It’s time for him to elevate his teammates in times of trouble, should it come to that.
