Atlanta Falcons: 5 Players to Watch Vs. Texans

The Atlanta Falcons are 3-0 and will host the 1-2 Houston Texans at the Georgia Dome on Sunday. The Falcons are a 6.5 point favorite over the Texans. Kickoff is at 1 PM ET on CBS.
Who would have thought that the Atlanta Falcons were going to come out of their first three games in 2015 unscathed at 3-0? I didn’t think so before the season started. Well, here we are with our Atlanta Falcons about to enter a very favorable part of their schedule when they welcome the Houston Texans to the Dome in Week 4.

Atlanta has had three consecutive fourth quarter come from behind victories to start the year. That shouldn’t happen, but it did for new HC Dan Quinn’s 2015 Atlanta Falcons. Houston plays in arguably the perennially weakest division in football, the AFC South. Will the Atlanta Falcons handle their first foe from the other Conference’s South Division?

Atlanta will need to do two things to win Week 4 at home: 1. Protect QB Matt Ryan from the stout front seven of the Houston Texans, featuring DE extraordinaire J.J. Watt. 2. Slow down the rushing attack of Alfred Blue.
Should Atlanta do those two things, I like for the Falcons to move to 4-0 and prove that their first three victories of 2015 were no fluke. Here are the five players on the Atlanta Falcons I believe can make a subtle difference in Week 4 versus the Houston Texans.
