Atlanta Falcons: 5 Players to Watch Vs. Texans
By John Buhler
William Moore now has two interceptions on the year. Does he make it three in four games against the Houston Texans on Sunday? I think he does.
Houston would prefer to pound the rock with RB Alfred Blue against the Falcons to hopefully open up the pass to WR DeAndre Hopkins. I remember Ryan Mallett being a bit of a gunslinger from his days with the Arkansas Razorbacks. Against HC Bill O’Brien‘s wishes, I think Mallett tries to air it out to Hopkins at least twice on Sunday.

Should the Atlanta Falcons disrupt Mallet on any of those deep passing attempts, guess who will be there to corral the errant throw?: William Moore. He’s always ready. Dan Quinn’s defense prides itself on the strong play of its defensive backfield. Moore could be a piece in the Dirty South version of the Legion of Boom.
Outside of possibly picking off a pass, look for Moore to lead the secondary, as FS Ricardo Allen will be out with a knee injury in Week 3. UDFA Robenson Therezie is going to start in place of Allen. Don’t think for a second that Therezie won’t get ready playing next to a man that’s always ready: Willy Mo.
