Not only did UGA lose, but Florida won. So that means Georgia-Florida is now a must-win game for the Bulldogs down in Jacksonville. Georgia now has to come out of the rest of October unscathed should they want to contend in the East.
For Georgia to do that, they will need to win in Knoxville, at home versus Mizzou, and knock off Florida in Jacksonville. That would put UGA in great position with just Kentucky at home and Auburn on the road to hopefully get back to Atlanta in the SEC Championship.
While many thought that UGA would not survive Alabama in the rain, outside of Gainesville, who thought Florida would defeat #3 Ole Miss in the Swamp? If Georgia wants to win the East, they must beat Florida.
