There’s a new number 1 in this week’s power rankings and it’s the North Carolina Tar Heels. After a rousing victory down on the Flats against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, the Tar Heels have placed themselves atop of the ACC Coastal Division.

A week after being benched in favor of backup QB Mitch Trubisky, Marquise Williams had an excellent game, rushing for 148 yards and 1 TD, while passing for 134 yards. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets got out to a 21-0 lead in the first half, but the UNC offense wore down the Tech defense, rallying to secure a hard-fought victory.
