JEFF TEAGUE IS ALREADY IN MIDSEASON FORM

Jeff Teague earned his first All-Star selection last season, and elevated his game to level previously unseen last season. Tonight at the Cintas Center, Jeff Teague was the best player on the court — even better than LeBron James, and it’s not even close. Teague finished with 17 points on 7 for 9 shooting in 21 minutes.

Teague carried the Atlanta Hawks in the first half, cutting to the basket, crossing over Cavaliers players, and hitting three-pointers. Jeff Teague improved his three-point shooting last season; and this season it looks like he may take that to the next level.

The Atlanta Hawks PG was active on defense and showed that he has the potential to not only return to the All-Star Game in February, but that he has become one of the best point guards in league. Granted it’s only 1 game, and it is the preseason, but Jeff Teague did play for over 20 minutes against the Cavaliers starters and showed that even early on, he is continuing to assert himself as one of the top players on the league.
