Let’s be real. Greyson Lambert was playing against two hurricanes last Saturday: Hurricane Joaquin coming up from the Atlantic and whatever the Crimson Tide were, coming from Tuscaloosa. It seemed obvious that Lambert couldn’t play his best football because he couldn’t get a good grip on the laces in the rain.
Had the weather not been a factor, I’m sure Lambert would have passed the football with more precision than in Week 5 versus Alabama. I’d like to believe that Lambert will play well against Tennessee on Saturday, passing for over 200 yards and 2 touchdowns with no interceptions.
Last year, Tennessee was the worst passing game for then starter Hutson Mason. I look at Lambert having a bounce back game for the Georgia Bulldogs against Rocky Top on Saturday. He’ll play with poise and get back to his Week 3-4 form in Week 6.
