This season, QB Greyson Lambert’s favorite target has been RS Senior WR Malcolm Mitchell. I’ve loved how Mitchell has developed into an all-around top-notch SEC receiver. He has the dynamism to make the deep vertical catch, as well as move the chains on curl route as a possession receiver.
For Lambert to get back on track in Week 6, he will want to connect on a few passes to his favorite wideout to restore his confidence after the abysmal game against Alabama. I think Mitchell is Lambert’s security blanket in this one.
I believe Malcolm Mitchell will have 8 catches for 110 yards and a touchdown against Tennessee tomorrow. While I expect Lambert to spread the football around more in this game, Mitchell should lead all UGA receivers in both receptions and yardage.
