Atlanta Falcons: NFC Power Rankings, Week 6

The Atlanta Falcons are 5-0 after beating the Washington Redskins, 25-19, in overtime on Sunday. Atlanta will travel to the Big Easy to take on arch rival New Orleans on Thursday Night Football.
It’s that time of the week where I try to make sense of the National Football Conference and power rank it. Entering Week 6, the NFC has 3 of the NFL’s undefeated teams (Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Green Bay Packers) and the only winless team in the Detroit Lions.

Oddly enough through the first five weeks, I’d say the NFC has a bit more parity than the AFC. There are so many awful football teams with 1-4 records in the AFC. Then again, there are just as many mediocre 2-3 teams in the NFC.
Week 6 should help us find some clarity within the vast middle of the NFL. There are about 10 teams that are a cut above the rest in the NFL, as well as 8 teams that could all end up picking first in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Without further ado, here are the 16 teams in the NFC ranked from 16 to 1. Even entering Week 6 there are still a handful of teams that I don’t have a good feel for. Hint they all have 2 wins. So here we go…
