Georgia Bulldogs to Face Defending SEC East Champ Mizzou Between the Hedges
By Adam Greene
The Georgia Bulldogs are in need of a win in the worst way. Luckily, they are set to face a Missouri team that is also reeling.
A win between the hedges for the Georgia Bulldogs would certainly give the team a boost heading into a bye week before they are set to face the Florida Gators in the annual Worlds Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. At this point in the season from here on out, every game is a must win for the Georgia Bulldogs. Certainly, they do have it in them to go undefeated the rest of the way. But with Nick Chubb out for the rest of the season, they have their work cut out for them.

THE MATCHUP
The Georgia Bulldogs are facing a Mizzou offense that has the worst offense in not only the Eastern Conference, but the League. They have had a very tough time moving the ball and if Georgia plays the way it did against South Carolina, expect the Tigers to put up some lowly numbers. However if we are going to get the Georgia that we’ve seen against Alabama and Tennessee, then expect this game to be a shootout as Mizzou has played solid defense throughout the year.

This is a must win game for both teams. Lets assume for a second that the Florida Gators will lose to LSU this weekend. If that happens, then UGA can essentially control their own destiny down the stretch for an Eastern Conference title. In order to do that, Georgia will have to get some stellar play from Greyson Lambert the rest of the way. He’ll have to make better throws in this game against Mizzou than what he had against the Volunteers, but he is fully capably of doing just that.
The Georgia Bulldogs will be looking to him a bit more this week especially with Nick Chubb out. Sony Michel and Keith Marshall should form a better than average tandem in this game, and look for the both of them to rack up some numbers despite playing against a Missouri defense that boasts some of the best numbers in the SEC.

The Georgia Bulldogs may not want to have Greyson Lambert overly prove himself in this game, and rely on what has worked for them for them in the past. Mizzou will be featuring Drew Lock under center in place of Maty Mauk due to his suspension, so expect the Tigers to play a little better on Offense and score some points, especially with Jordan Jenkins out with a hip injury for the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs allowed the Volunteers to come back from a huge deficit last week, so second half adjustments will be key in this game if there are any that will be made.
THE PREDICTION
The Bulldogs pull out a win at home against the Tigers playing in front of a hometown night crowd. It wont take a miracle or many miscues by the Tigers, expect Georgia to get back to playing hard-nosed football in this game and getting a solid win at home. Final Score: UGA 34, Mizzou 24.
