Georgia Bulldogs: 4 Things Learned vs. Missouri

THE GEORGIA DEFENSE WON THIS GAME
The Georgia Bulldogs’ defense was the reason for Saturday’s victory over Missouri — and it’s probably Georgia’s greatest strength at this point in the season. Jeremy Pruitt’s squad was proficient in stopping the run, as well as containing Drew Lock. On the night, the defense allowed only 164 of total offense from the Tigers, including only 21 rushing yards.
The Georgia Bulldogs defense still struggles at tackling in open space. Their concern seems more with the football than bringing down the actual person. The defense stepped up tonight when the offense couldn’t, and bodes well for UGA as they prepare for their showdown with the Florida Gators.
