John Theus grew up in Jacksonville. It came down to either Georgia or Florida for the Top 25 prospect in the 2012 High School graduating class. Theus chose wisely and this game might mean more to him than anyone on the team.
Theus and fellow tackle Kolton Houston have played well in their senior seasons for the Dawgs. It’s been a near shame how poor the offense has been, despite having a great offensive line up front. Theus is the undisputed leader of the offensive line and probably the entire offense as the Dawgs enter the back half of their 2015 season.

Florida’s defense is well-rounded with great pass rushers and cover guys. I feel that with enough time in the pocket, Georgia’s starting quarterback can make more accurate throws against Florida. Two weeks of preparation should help UGA in this game.
Since UGA cannot afford any more losses in 2015, I think that Theus and Houston are the two players on offense that will get the unit fired up for Saturday. It’s shocking that the Georgia Bulldogs need a motivator get to get amped for Georgia-Florida, but Theus is the guy to do it before Saturday’s kickoff at 3:30 PM ET on CBS. Go Dawgs! Beat Florida!
