THE RETURN OF THABO SEFOLOSHA

Thabo Sefolosha received his first start of the season on Saturday against the Cavaliers, and was probably the most consistent Hawks player on the floor all night. He finished with 13 points on 50 percent shooting and 5 rebounds, while playing active defense on Lebron James all night.

Though the result of the game was not what the Atlanta Hawks wanted, Sefolosha’s great defense gave fans a glimpse of what he could have provided last postseason. Sefolosha’s great defensive effort won’t show up in a box score, but he made Lebron James a facilitator, rather than the primary scorer.
