As long as Bobby Petrino is the man on the sidelines for the Louisville Cardinals, this game will always be enjoyable for members of Dawg Nation who also root on the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons. Petrino almost a decade ago spurned Atlanta in Week 14 of the 2007 NFL season to go coach the SEC’s Arkansas Razorbacks.

Karma caught up to Petrino via motorcycle and a few years later, he’s back to where he first made a name for himself as the Head Coach of the Louisville Cardinals football team.
Last year’s 37-14 beatdown by Georgia was the first time these two southeastern programs had met. This was due to the Cardinals being in different conferences over the years before joining the ACC last season.
Since UGA won’t play Nebraska in a bowl game for the third time in four years, why not play the Louisville Cardinals again. It’s always fun to see Bobby Petrino lose. I think UGA would enter the rematch as the clear favorite, as Louisville went 7-5 (5-3) on the year. Birds don’t have teeth.
