Of all the potential bowl game opponents the Georgia Bulldogs could face in 2015, the Michigan Wolverines led by former UM QB Jim Harbaugh is by far the most appealing. Harbaugh this time last year coached the San Francisco 49ers of the NFL and has been one of the most successful football coaches of the last decade.

UGA has played Michigan only twice before, with the last meeting in 1965. This is another one of those, “why haven’t these two teams met in a bowl game in half a century” type of games?
Playing Michigan would stand as a tremendously tough battle for the Georgia Bulldogs. Though both programs have three losses on the year, Michigan’s are to Utah, Michigan State, and Ohio State. I’d say those three are better than UGA’s to Alabama, Tennessee, and Florida.
The Georgia Bulldogs would surely be the underdog in this game, probably in Tampa Bay. However, it would stand as a great bowl matchup between two of the most iconic programs in college football history. This is Georgia’s best potential bowl opponent considerably.
