If there is one true freshman on the 2016 Georgia Bulldogs that will have a monster 2016 season, it is five-star tight end prospect Isaac Nauta. Nauta grew up in nearby Buford, Georgia, but elected to play his senior season at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He played in the US Army All-America Bowl and enrolled early for Spring Semester 2016.

Georgia has had great tight ends over the last several seasons, but experienced a drop off in productivity in its only year with Brian Schottenheimer as its offensive coordinator. Jim Chaney will absolutely find ways to get Nauta the football in 2016.

UGA will have three great receiving tight ends on its roster in 2016 in Jeb Blazevich, Jackson Harris, and now Isaac Nauta. This will bode very well for whoever ends up winning the starting quarterback job in knowing that they will have several security blankets they can toss the ball to at tight end while the wide receivers group begins to find its footing under new coach James Coley.

Nauta is a big, fast, and physical tight end. He compares favorably to Rob Gronkowski and will probably have a better collegiate career at Georgia than Gronk had at Arizona. It is very rare for a tight end to earn a five-star rating coming out of high school.

While Jacob Eason is a once in a decade type of quarterback talent, Isaac Nauta could stand as a once in a generation type of tight end talent. The sky is the limit for Nauta at tight end for the Georgia Bulldogs.
