We noticed it from day one. Dominick Sanders is a next-level talent in the Georgia Bulldogs defense. He will play on Sundays and at this time feels like the crown jewel in the UGA defense entering 2016. The true junior from Tucker, Georgia can do it all at strong safety.

In 2015, Sanders became the leader of the UGA secondary after former standout Damian Swann went to the New Orleans Saints in the 2015 NFL Draft after four strong years with the Dawgs. Sanders has great hands, great vision, and essentially eliminates opposing quarterbacks’ intentions to go deep in the middle of the field in the passing game.

Even as true freshmen in 2014, we saw that Dominick Sanders was well ahead of the curve in his development into an elite defensive back in the SEC. While he plays strong safety, he has this position-less feel to his game that is only best described as that of a defensive playmaker.

With the Georgia Bulldogs’ defense probably being the cornerstone of their 2016 NCAA campaign, there is a strong possibility that Dominick Sanders could elevate his play to that of an All-SEC level in the defensive backfield. He’s an absolute pleasure to watch play on Fall Saturdays in Athens.
