While the Georgia Bulldogs lose both starting tackles John Theus and Kolton Houston to graduation and the 2016 NFL Draft, they do return three starters up front and one of those players could start at all five positions up front. That player is junior Isaiah Wynn who started at left guard in 2015 for the Dawgs.

Wynn got some work in at left tackle during the season if something were to have happened to perennial starter John Theus. Wynn also battled for the starting center spot that ultimately went to Brandon Kublanow last fall.

While new offensive coordinator Jim Chaney may not know exactly where to play Isaiah Wynn up front in 2015, he’ll gladly leave that up to his offensive line coach in Sam Pittman. Pittman is a protegé of Arkansas Razorbacks head coach Bret Bielema as one of the best offensive line coaches in the Power 5. Getting Pittman to switch SEC teams in 2016 is a huge gain for the Dawgs going forward.

There is a chance that Pittman may choose to keep Wynn on the inside to ensure a clean pocket for Chaney’s starting quarterback. However, don’t feel shocked if Isaiah Wynn is in the running for a starting tackle position this season. One thing is certain: Isaiah Wynn will thrive playing for Pittman and Chaney up front in 2016.
