There are three college football match-ups this weekend that every Atlanta sports fan should be aware of: Georgia Bulldogs vs Missouri Tigers, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets vs Vanderbilt Commodores, and the Georgia State Panthers vs Wisconsin Badgers.

This weekend is a big one for Atlanta sports and college football, especially for the Georgia Bulldogs and GSU Panthers, who have both experienced struggles early on. Here is a look at this weekend’s Atlanta college football match-ups, including where and when to watch and game predictions.

Georgia Bulldogs vs Missouri Tigers

The 2-0 Georgia Bulldogs will take on the Missouri Tigers this Saturday at Memorial Stadium at Faurot Field, Columbia, Missouri. ICYMI: The Bulldogs came very close to losing to the Nicholls State Colonels last weekend, only making this game more crucial for the Dawgs. This is also their first SEC game of the season.

There are a great deal of unanswered questions for both teams heading into this match-up, especially on offense. The Bulldogs continue to rotate quarterbacks and the Tigers are still searching for an offensive identity this year. Both teams are also under first time head coaches this season. Georgia’s advantage: Coach Smart learned from Nick Saban.

"Georgia simply has to be better on both sides of the ball if it wants to compete for the SEC East title. Missouri just has to keep playing like it did last week. The running of Nick Chubb will take off once again against a weaker-than-usual Missouri defense, and Smart will come out of Columbia with his first SEC win as a head coach. The Bulldogs take it by more than a touchdown.Georgia vs. Missouri Score Prediction: Georgia 31, Missouri 23"

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets vs Vanderbilt Commodores

This Saturday, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will go head to head with the Vanderbilt Commodores at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta. The Yellow Jackets are 2-0 after a 17-14 win over Boston College, followed by a 35-10 win over the Mercer Bears last week. The Commodores, on the other hand, lost their season opener 13-10 to South Carolina and the “Will Muschamp Era.” However, they did manage a big win over Middle Tennessee State last week, 47-24.

"If you are looking for a game with few commercial breaks and a fast clock, this is the one for you. Both teams love to pound the ball on the ground, and passes will be few and far between. Thomas and the Yellow Jackets have seemed to get their footing in the first two games of the season. It will be low scoring and a bruising game, but Georgia Tech pulls out a close one at home.Vanderbilt vs. Georgia Tech Score Prediction: Georgia Tech 24, Vanderbilt 17"

Georgia State Panthers vs Wisconsin Badgers

The Georgia State Panthers are headed to Madison, Wisconsin, for Week 3 against the Wisconsin Badgers. The Panthers have gotten off to a rough 0-2 start this season after losing their season opener 21-31 to Ball State and then taking an even harder fall to Air Force last week, 14-48. Wisconsin, on the other hand, is experiencing just the opposite. They are 2-0 after a 16-14 victory over LSU, followed by a 54-10 win over Akron.

The Badgers boast an explosive offense with their biggest weapon in running back Corey Clement. The Panthers, who have struggled on both offensively and defensively, probably won’t pose much of a threat to the Badgers this weekend.

The odds may appear to be stacked against the Panthers in this match-up, but, anything is possible in the world of college football.

"Clement runs for 170 yards, Houston tosses three touchdown passes and the Badgers hold Georgia State to 110 yards of total offense.Wisconsin vs. Georgia State Score Prediction: Wisconsin 47, Georgia State 3"
