The Atlanta Braves have made it no secret they will be adding a lot of talent this off-season. Who are some of the players that they should add?

The Atlanta Braves have had a season of mixed results. Their record as a whole may look discouraging but the team has been put in a position to compete for many seasons in the future in exchange for a couple of painful ones.

Once they decide who will be managing the team the Braves focus will shift to adding players who can help them now at the Major League level. The Braves haven’t been shy about using the trade market for the last few years and are expected to make deals both in the trade and free agent markets.

They have more flexibility in their budget and are ready to make a push to compete and attract more fans as they head into a new stadium in 2017. The front office has very few free agents to worry about and a young core to build around.

The only obvious hole on the team is the starting pitching staff, and who will take over for veteran catcher A.J. Pierzynski? The front office will look to fill both of these holes as well as look into improving an offense that has looked much better with the addition of Matt Kemp.

Here are some players that the Atlanta Braves should add this off-season to help them compete in 2017 and beyond.
