The Atlanta Braves are headed in the right direction as they leave Turner Field for the final time this weekend.  While Turner Field has had many great moments overall the team has disappointed and fallen short so many times.

The Braves front office is building a team and a franchise with the hopes of winning not one but many championships. While obviously this is the hope of every franchise they appear to be on the brink of doing that if they can maintain their farm systems and take the next big step and compete this season.

The biggest questions of the off-season are who will be in the Braves starting rotation? As well as which outfielder if any will the Braves trade? While the first is impossible to answer due to how many different scenarios could happen the second is relatively easy to guess.

Ender Inciarte is loved in Atlanta he is a great offensive player and an even better defensive one. He is young and affordable and will be going nowhere in 2017. Matt Kemp’s contract is large and will hurt his value there is also the fact that the Braves have only played better once he was added to the team. He fits in Atlanta and Atlanta seems to like him.

That leaves Mallex Smith and Nick Markakis, the most likely scenario? Markakis will be headed out and Mallex will take his place. While it is far from a sure thing, it is very possible this is Nick’s last season in Atlanta.
