  1. Devonta Freeman/Tevin Coleman

While it would be very easy to rank only Freeman here it is important to remember that Coleman and Freeman both worked at their best as a tandem pushing each other to run harder. They both bring their own unique skill set and are easily the best 1-2 running back punch in the NFL.

Combined they piled up 1,599 rushing yards and 883 receiving yards and scored 24 touchdowns counting both receiving and rushing touchdowns. The Falcons have a weapon that no one else in the league does. They have two running backs that they can put out on the field and run between the tackles or run on the perimeter. They can pass block or they can go out and run any route that you want to throw at them. Their ability to double as running backs, pass protection, and receivers is unique to the Falcons offense and is not replicated by any other offense in the league.

Coleman has the ability to make an explosive play and break big plays anytime that he touches the ball with his speed. While Freeman has that ability as well, he is more of a consistent running back that is going to take the ball between the tackles and break tackles. While Freeman may have more stats remember who has given the Falcons the ability to keep Freeman fresh and broken big plays when the Falcons have needed them Coleman and Freeman are both great players who deserve a place in any list of Falcon’s top players this season.
