  1. Julio Jones

If this were a list simply of the overall best players on the Falcon’s roster Julio Jones would finish first on any such list. Even with his impressive season Jones has been injured and isn’t the best player on the field this season for the Falcons.

Julio Jones is easily one of the three best receivers in the league and in Falcon’s fans minds is the best. Jones makes catches over the top of defenders and uses the sideline as well as any receiver in the league. He also has a unique ability to get open and give Matt Ryan an easy target across the middle of the field.  His ability to make catches in tight and double coverage when he has to, as well as having the ability to be elusive to get open and make catches. It is also of note that when the game is on the line then everyone knows where the ball is going, and yet they still cannot stop Julio Jones, unless they pin his arm behind his back as Sherman did in Seattle.

Julio Jones is a special player that will be in Atlanta for many years to come. Much like Beasley the Falcons are going to need Jones if they hope to go on a run throughout the playoffs this season.
