  1. Finish the Outfield

The Braves outfield seems to be complete with Matt Kemp, Ender Inciarte, and Nick Markakis all slotted in from left to right. Matt Kemp should give the offense a boost being able to spend a full season with an offense that struggled for the majority of the season.

The problem with the Braves current offense is lack of depth, while you could slot Jace Peterson in center he is a corner outfielder at best and does a much better job in the infield. That leaves Mallex Smith as the 4th outfielder.

Smith needs to start the season in triple- A and continue to get every day at-bats. Mallex is not a 4th outfielder but needs to be kept in triple-A in case of injury. The Braves need to go out and add a legitimate 4th outfielder who is capable of playing all three outfield positions and pinch hitting off of the bench.

Whether through the trade or free agent market the Braves need to address their outfield and finish adding a 4th outfielder aside from Mallex Smith both for insurance and to allow Smith to continue to develop without having to count on infielders to play center field.
