  1. Solidify the Lineup

Despite the fact that Jace Peterson and Sean Rodriguez are more than capable of playing second base as starters anytime you get a chance to add an all-star player like Brian Dozier the Braves should at least attempt to see how high the price would be.

Obviously if the Braves were to add a bat like Brian Dozier, adding Todd Frazier would not be a possibility so consider that all of these moves being suggested are ones that would make the Braves better by themselves not moves that should all happen because of the impossibility of the Braves being able to accomplish all five of these moves. However if the Braves were able to back up the positions that they need to along with adding a name like Dozier, Archer, or Frazier all the sudden they could be surprise contenders in the wildcard race.

The problem for the Braves with this particular move will be competing with the Dodgers who are in a bidding war for Dozier and are reportedly getting very close to bringing the Twin’s second baseman to L.A.   Regardless if the Braves were to pull off the unlikely and bring Dozier to Atlanta it would put them back into the postseason discussion as they head into the new stadium in 2017.
