Will the Atlanta Falcons beat the Hawks and advance to the next round?

The Atlanta Falcons are set for a playoff matchup on Saturday against the Seattle Seahawks. After a tough loss in Seattle both teams have improved in some areas and fallen to injuries in others. Both team’s secondary has gotten weaker from injuries and could set up the passing game to be the central attack for both sides.

Atlanta’s defense has improved as well putting together a pass rushing attack that has the league’s leading sack artist in Vic Beasley. The Falcon’s defense could be the deciding factor in this game, it is an unpredictable talented unit that could compliment the best offense in football or make it more challenging for them to keep up with the Hawks. Predicting how the Falcon’s defense will respond in the playoffs with the improvements and struggles that they had throughout the year is close to impossible.

What is not hard to predict is that the Falcon’s offensive attack will continue to roll and carry this Falcon’s team. Matt Ryan will play one of his best games of the season as well, he is ready to shake off the playoff failures he had early in his career and get back into position to make the Super Bowl as they were against the 49er’s several seasons ago.

The Seattle Seahawks offensive attack has been unpredictable all season but come playoff time can be counted on to score at least twenty points against the Falcon’s D. The game is going to come down to whether or not the Hawks will be able to keep up with the Falcon’s high flying passing attack or slow it down on defense. In the end this is a revenge game that the Falcons are set up to win. The Seahawks do not have the depth to cover all of the Falcon’s offensive weapons.

There is no question the Seahawks are a scary team that come playoff time can beat anyone, the good news for the Falcons is that their offense is the best in the league and will be the deciding factor in this game.  Final Prediction, Matt Ryan and the Falcons roll early and score just enough to pull this one out and advance 31-24 Falcons win.
